NO-CONTACT HOME DELIVERY STARTS MONDAY, JUNE 15TH!

Since you can’t come to the library right now,

let the library come to you!

Arranging a no-contact home delivery is easy! Just follow the steps below:

1.     CHOOSE YOUR MATERIAL:

Check our catalog for materials you would like to borrow in our collection: https://rollinsfordlibrary.booksys.net/opac/rpl/index.html#menuSearch

a.     If we have the material you are looking for, check the record to see if the item is currently checked “in” to the library. You will be asked to sign in to your account to reserve materials. To do this, you will need your complete library card number and the last four digits of the phone number listed on your library account. If you need to confirm any of this information, please contact the library.

i.     If the material is “in,” you can either click the “RESERVE” button and a request for the item will automatically be sent to the library; or else contact the library by phone or email to let us know you would like the item.

ii.     If the material is “out” and you would like to wait for it, you would follow the same process as if the item was “in”: click the “RESERVE” button to be placed on the waiting list; or else contact the library by phone or email and a staff member will ensure you are added to the waiting list.

b.     If we do not have the material you are looking for and it was published with the last year, let us know! We happily accept requests for new materials to be added to the collection. You can contact the library by phone or email to submit new materials requests.

c. If you are not able to access our catalog online, simply call or email the library with your requests. We’ll do the searching and let you know if it’s available!

*At this time, the NH State Library Inter-Library Loan service is not operating so we are unable to take requests for materials available from other libraries.

 2.     ARRANGE FOR DELIVERY:

Once you’ve let us know what materials you would like, we will contact you via the method you contacted us to let you know the materials are available and to confirm when the items will be delivered.

Generally, all book deliveries will take place on Fridays. You do not need to be home to have materials delivered, but please note that you must have a sheltered location for us to leave borrowed materials in the event of inclement weather.

If you have returns, we are happy to pick them up from a designated area outside when we make a delivery! Just let us know in advance so we will be on the lookout for them.

*At this time, no-contact home delivery is available to Rollinsford residents only!
