RPL Story Time and Play Hour

Join Libby in the library for stories, songs, movement and Play! A new theme each week!
Recommended for kids from 0-4.

Every Tuesday at 10:30 am in the library

*Starting 9/1/25, the library will be limiting the number of participants attending story time. Interested participants can sign up for a 4-week session by calling or emailing the library. Sessions will run consecutively and sign up will open approximately two weeks ahead of the start of a session. Walk-in participants will be admitted at the discretion of the library.

2025 Story Time and Play Hour Sessions
1: Tuesday, September 9th to Tuesday, September 30th
2. Tuesday, October 7th to Tuesday, October 28th
3. Tuesday, November 4th to Tuesday, November 25th
4. Tuesday, December 2nd to Tuesday, December 30th *Story Time and Play Hour will not meet on Tuesday, December 23rd

Story Time and Play Hour Etiquette

We want every participant of our Story Time and Play Hour to feel welcome and safe during their visit to the library. We respectfully ask that parents and caregivers adhere to the library’s stated policy that children under the age of 10 must be attended to at all times while visiting the library.

We also ask that parents encourage respectful library behavior while visiting the library. Children should understand that the library is not an appropriate place for running around, yelling, standing on furniture, and roughhousing. The library and its staff understand that you can’t entirely control the behavior of young children, but in return we ask that parents and guardians be respectful of the library, its policies, and the rights of other patrons.
