FOLLOWING THE GOVERNOR'S STAY-AT-HOME ORDER, THE LIBRARY WILL REMAINED CLOSED UNTIL MAY 4, 2020

UPDATE 3/27/20: Following the Governor’s Stay-at-Home order, the library will remain closed until May 4, 2020. Library staff will no longer regularly be in the library in accordance with the order, but the library’s phone and email will continue to be checked and messages will be responded to as soon as possible. Email will be the easiest, fastest way to reach the library, so please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!

All materials checked out to patrons-in-good-standing have been renewed to 5/4/20. We ask that you hold on to any materials you have borrowed until the library has re-opened as the dropbox has been removed. Please do not leave any borrowed materials in the hallway! As below, we are continuing to respectfully remind patrons not to leave any donations in the hallway while the library remains closed. (If you are taking this time to do some Spring cleaning, we ask that you review the library’s donation policy. We will happily accept donations which meet the policy’s criteria when we re-open!)

We will continue to update our website and Facebook page so please check in for more information. We at the library urge you to stay informed, stay safe and stay healthy! We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

UPDATE 3/21/20: Based on the most recent disinfection information that we have, we are now asking patrons to NOT return any borrowed materials until the library re-opens. We will be removing the dropbox from the hallway and we ask that patrons do not leave any borrowed materials in the hallway. Additionally, we would like to respectfully remind patrons not to leave any donations in the hallway while the library is closed. We would like to thanks all our patrons for their continued understanding and cooperation during this unprecedented times in which we find ourselves. Stay healthy everyone!

Due to the continuing COVID-19/ Corona Virus pandemic, will be closed starting on Monday, March 16th

3/15/20: After serious consideration, the library has made the difficult decision to close starting Monday, March 16th. At this time, we do not have a projected re-open date, but we will be closely monitoring the situation as it develops and will keep patrons informed to the best of our ability.

A member of the library staff will be available via phone Monday to Thursday from 10am to 12pm to answer questions and renew materials. Materials can also be renewed by replying back to overdue emails. A reply goes directly to the library’s email which will be checked often. Additionally, materials that are not overdue can be renewed by accessing patron’s accounts on OPAC. Directions on how to access your account via OPAC can be found here. Patrons can return materials to the dropbox located outside the entrance to the library. The dropbox will be checked regularly.

All scheduled programs to be held at the library, including Community Yoga, have been cancelled for the time being. Please check the website and our Facebook page for updates.

We encourage patrons looking for materials to explore what the NH State Downloadable Book Consortium has to offer! The Libby app used to access these materials is extremely user friendly and all patrons have access to these resources. Instructions for using this online service are available here. If you run into any issues, we encourage you to call the library during the hours listed above.

We at the library hope this closure will be short in duration and that we can resume normal service as soon as possible, but in the meantime, we wish all our patrons health and safety during this confusing and stressful time. For safety information and resources, we urge you check out our Coronavirus COVID-19 Information and Resource post as well as our Facebook page. We hope to see you all again soon!
